Welcome to the Oklahoma Music Archives! Founded in 2019, we are a collaborative community website dedicated to preserving the past, present, and future of Oklahoma music! We encourage everyone to add information to this site so we can get a more complete view of our musical culture.
About the Oklahoma Music Archives
This site is intended to provide its viewers with knowledge about the Oklahoma music scene and assist in introducing new fans to the local music scene. While it will never be fully complete, we hope to gather as much information as possible. We include bands and musicians ranging from nationally recognized groups to the most obscure unsigned artists. Whether the band is still rocking out shows or has been disbanded for decades, we want people to know about them.
To add new artists to the archive, just click the "Edit" link on the right hand side of your page.
If you have any issues, please contact us on Facebook.

Happy Brthday America!
Just to give you an update on what is going on behind the scenes, we are finally nearing completion of our site migration. We have just a few dozen pages left to finish transferring to our new format and hosting.
All active bands we had completed pages for on the old site are finished and we have just a few defunct bands left to transfer over plus a few odds and ends. It's been a long time coming, but the end of the migration is near!
We announced three new Spotify playlists in our last update and to date two of those are now available for listening! If you haven't heard our Pop Archives playlist or our 1990s Retrospective, give them a listen! We still have one more headed your way, so expect that one in the coming weeks.

We have transferred a majority of our old site over. Bear with us as we migrate the remaining information. We have never stopped adding more as we go along!
To date, all albums and solo artists have been moved over. A good portion of the bands have been as well and we are working on the rest. Each page has to be moved individually, so it has taken some time, but it is well worth it!
We have updated and relaunched our "Oklahoma Regions" sections to make it more intuitive and visually appealing.
We also launched our record label, OKMA Records, in January. Our first release dropped earlier this week, but we are looking ahead to our next release. News on that coming later!
In addition, we are currently working on not one, not two, but three new Spotify playlists to spread the word on local musicians. We are hitting a couple new genres we have yet to focus on in addition to a new Retrospective.
We even have another Spotlight lined up. So much more to come in the near future!
