The Ivy is a synthpop band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Exemplifying a pure and nostalgic sound, they bring an electrifying performance featuring grooves reminiscent of the 80s.

2015—2018: Formation & "Next Stop"[edit]

The Ivy originated as a solo project from Tulsa's Shawn Abhari in August 2015, but quickly transformed the project into a band upon meeting band mate Wyatt Clem at ACM@UCO in January of 2016. The band released their single "She" on April 8th, 2016.

On February 21, 2017, the duo released the EP Next Stop. The band followed up their EP release by performing at SXSW in March. Shortly after, they added drummer Zachary Siddiqui to the group in April of 2017.

The trio released the hit single "Gold" on June 8, 2017. In July, "Gold" was on Spotify's US Viral Chart at #4 and Spotify's Global Viral Chart at #3. The band quickly gained attention from major labels.

Since then, the singles "Have You Ever Been in Love" and "Better in My Head" have been released and the band signed a publishing deal.

2019—Present: "We Move Faster at Night"[edit]

In 2020, the band released their sophomore EP, We Move Faster at Night.
